Private show in a house in Framingham, Massachusetts. We’ll be raising money for Cancer Connection of Northampton, an organization very dear to the host.
Aric Bieganek (of The Royal Order of Chords and Keys)
Aric Bieganek grew up infused with the belief that music can both tell stories and inspire personal and social change. A multi-instrumentalist versatile rocker at heart, he explored his versatility at Berklee College of Music. His own folk/rock style mixes social commentary, thoughtful lyrics, and humor. Aric Bieganek has also gained a faithful following of young rockers throughout Massachusetts as a childrens’ musician and teacher, performing with his kids’ band The Royal Order of Chords and Keys (R.O.C.K. for short). When he’s not busy doing that, he’s playing bass, percussion, and other things for Matthew Larsen and The Documents. Quite a versatile rocker indeed!
Matthew Larsen and The Documents
Matthew Larsen has been a member of the vibrant Western Massachusetts music scene for a few decades, attracting audiences with introspective piano rock songs. Sometimes short, quiet and sweet– other times building into wall-of-sound Hotel-California-like anthems, Matthew’s songs often recall serious health issues (Matthew underwent a stem cell transplant at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston in 2005). Apheresis, Matthew Larsen and The Documents’ forthcoming full-length recorded with Dave Chalfant (The Nields) at his Conway, MA. studio is slated to be released in March of 2011
